This isn’t what I typically write about but I think I’m allowed at least one corny post about how happy I am with someone.

Who would’ve though that I, Miss, I don’t need or want a man right now, I can handle myself just fine, I like being alone - would be feeling this way. I guess I’m more of a deeper person than you think. Maybe this is a test? This might not even work out but all I know is that I won’t regret it. It’s worth it to me.

I like that we can joke around. You always make me laugh.
I like that we are comfortable enough with one another that we can just chill and watch movies in our pjs the whole day.
I like how we can just sit and talk for hours about random shit and not even get bored.
I like your intelligence. You teach me something new everyday.
I like how you listen to me, listen to everything I have to say.
I like how you give me advice, even when I don’t think I need it. They end up helping me in the long run.
I like how you pass no judgment. I feel like I can really be myself around you.
I like how you are patient with me. You put up with my highs and lows and I really appreciate that.
I like how you compliment me even when I already know half of the things you tell me. You still tell me anyway and it puts a stupid smile on my face.
I like how you remind me how I’m worth all of this. I already knew that too but it’s nice to be told that every once and awhile and you seem to make sure I won’t forget it.
I like your persistence. You are winning me over with it.

I like you. There’s no mushy lovey dovey shit behind it. I genuinely like you and my feelings are real. How do I know? Because I was guarded and you somehow broke through my walls. I still don’t know how you did it but I’m happy you did. I’m enjoying the moments that we have.

I’m glad there is someone out there who can put up with me and can handle me too. I’m glad there is someone who can make me realize that there really are better guys men out there.
